ʻIke Loa Consulting SLU is registered in Spain and is therefore subject to Spanish and EU data protection law, namely the General Data Protection Regulation ((EU) 2016/679, GDPR) and Spain's Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and the Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).
What data we collect and for what purpose
ʻIke Loa Consulting SLU collects and processes the following personal data:
Through the website's contact form, we collect the user's email address and any message they choose to include. The purpose is to respond to the enquiry received. The legal basis is the user's legitimate interest in obtaining a response to their communication.
Through the Zeeg platform, used to book discovery calls, we collect the user's name, email address, and any information the user chooses to provide in response to the booking form questions. The purpose is to manage the requested appointment and to have the context needed for a productive first conversation. The legal basis is the performance of a pre-contractual relationship at the data subject's request.
In both cases, the data will not be used for any other purpose without the data subject's express consent.
Retention period
Data will be retained for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry or manage the appointment, and subsequently for the periods required under tax and commercial law.
Disclosure of data to third parties
Data is not disclosed to third parties except where legally required. Both Netlify, Inc. (USA), which manages the contact form infrastructure, and Zeeg, which manages the discovery call booking platform, act as data processors under a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR.
International transfers
Netlify, Inc. is located in the USA, outside the European Economic Area. The transfer of data to its servers is covered by appropriate safeguards under the GDPR, by virtue of its adherence to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Zeeg hosts data on servers located in Germany, within the EEA, and therefore this does not involve an international data transfer.
Data subject rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spain's Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD), data subjects may exercise the following rights:

- Rectification of inaccurate data
- Erasure of their data
- Restriction of processing
